- Could someone please help me.
-
- I have Miracom Courier 14.4. modem and want to run it at a DTE rate of
-
- 57600. I have tried setting the DTE rate to this value under SETUP
- in Trumpet Winsock but when I manually type in the ATZ command
- to reset the modem it just hangs (does not return OK).
-
- I have confirmed using MSD that I have 16550 uarts.
-
- I have downloaded CYBERCOM.DRV from the WEB and updated
- Windows SYSTEM.INI with COM.DRV=CYBERCOM.DRV and
- COM2FIFO=1. This made no difference.
-
- I have also tried using a DTE rate of 56700 with a DOS comms program
- but get no where with that either. I get a 16550 UART frane error.
-
- The suppiler of my modem said that I would be ok using the higher
- DTE under Windows 95. I don not want to use this and can't beleive
- that I cannot run at the higher DTE rate under Windows 3.1 or DOS.
-
- Could it be that my fast serial ports are not working?
-
- Any help would be much appreciated.
